Open house @ the open house this Sunday!

Hey everyone,

We are going to do things a little differently this week and instead of our normal program, we are going to host a little BBQ and potluck at the little nest for friends of ours, people in the community and for us as well.

We are going to have a couple BBQ’s set up outside and welcome people in for a meal and a chance to get to know some of us and for us to get to know our neighbours, as well our friend Matt Mei is going to play some acoustic music for us in the cafe.

So be sure to come out, bring a friend and a dish to share this Sunday January 31 @ 5pm!

Hey everyone,

Looking forward to connecting this week at little nest, as Deric leads us through John 10 and Derek updates us on our potluck for the 30th of this month and a few other items regards some activities we are going to be involved in in February and March.

We also will take some time to pray for the people in Haiti, as tragedy hit this country this past week (January 12) through an earthquake.

We are also going to talk about donating to the relief efforts in Haiti through P51.

Hey everyone,

We are getting together again this Sunday for our first regular gathering of the year (5pm at little nest). Thanks to the Cooper’s for hosting a time at their place last week.

This week our very own Derek Kehler, is going to be leading us through an exercise on working together and dreaming about what it might look like for our church to be more active in the community. Derek will be leading us through a few in house workshops, with regular monthly activities in the neighbourhood. I’m excited about what we are about to engage in the new year.

UPDATE: toh for January 3rd, 2010 CANCELLED

Hey everyone,

Due to the lack of a venue and the simple fact that the majority of our community will be away this Sunday, we are going to cancel the gathering.

We will be back at little nest on January 10th at 5pm for our usual potluck and discussion time as we explore John 10 together.
