Looking forward to connecting with you tomorrow at our place. I want to pass on that we are going to offer up a time for more questions you might have from last Tuesday, give some more details on the retreat and I will also lead us in a brief discussion as time allows.
I really hope you have had time to pray through our conversation from last week. I also hope you have taken a few of us up on our offer to work through some of the details that you may want clarified. For those of you that have, thanks for your honesty and encouragement.
I know there was a lot to take in last week so if there are concerns you have and/ or questions bring them tomorrow night.

new beginnings for the open house
Thursday, August 14th, 2008I wanted to let everyone know that this week will be a big one for the history of the open house.
On August 19th I am going to be sharing a vision to our church, which will lead us in an entirely new direction. For the past month I have felt a great peace about this direction and feel it is time to introduce it and begin moving in this new direction. Although our leadership team is on board with this new direction, I have felt God saying that unless a certain number of current members agree to move in this direction then we can’t go forward. I love this church and I really need the support of the people to go forward. I am going to ask them to not only agree to the vision, but agree to a greater commitment to the church and each other. We hope to hear from each person by the end of the month.
If you have been part of the open house in some way over the years I welcome you to join us. If you are a current participator I hope you will make this gathering a priority.
I am eventually going to share on this blog this new direction, but not until I have shared it with my church. So please pray and expect an post from me again at the end for the month with more details outlining what had happened.

Hey everyone, after a great BBQ last week (I added a few pictures to our photo group in flickr and in facebook) we are getting back together in our usual place this week (August 12).
I want also to encourage you to try and make it out over the next two weeks, there are some big announcements going to be made that we really want your participation in.
